TruSight Oncology 500 FAQs

Local Run Manager TruSight Oncology 500 Analysis Module does not require a sample sheet because you enter sample and run parameter information into the software interface.

For analysis on the TruSight Oncology 500 Local App, see the sample sheet for your version and follow directions in the appropriate app guide:

• v2 TruSight Oncology 500 Local App Sample Sheet —for DNA and RNA libraries.
• v1 TruSight Oncology 500 Local App Sample Sheet —for DNA libraries only.
• TruSight Tumor 170 Local App Sample Sheet if you analyze RNA libraries in conjunction with the TruSight Oncology 500 Local App v1 DNA libraries. Remove references to DNA from the sample sheet.

For DNA libraries, follow instructions in the TruSight Oncology 500 Local App User Guide with the sample sheet template TruSight Oncology 500 Local App Sample Sheet. 

For RNA libraries, follow instructions in the TruSight Tumor 170 Local App User Guide with the sample sheet template TruSight Tumor 170 Local App Sample Sheet. Remove any references to DNA from the sample sheet.

TruSight Oncology 500 includes 523 genes. Of these genes, the panel covers all exons for 522.

The kit enables the preparation of 48 libraries from DNA, RNA, or a combination of DNA and RNA libraries. DNA and RNA libraries can be prepared simultaneously.

No. Because of software constraints, run them separately.

Use SandyBridge, an equivelant, or better. Older processors do not have required data compression instruction sets and might cause analysis to fail.
