Use Illumina Experiment Manager to record information about your samples, such as sample ID and which index adapters are used for pooling.
For high output modes (HiSeq v4 and TruSeq v3), cluster the flow cell on the cBot 2 System or cBot System before sequencing on the HiSeq 2500 System.
Using the HiSeq Rapid Duo cBot Sample Loading Kit to load a different library into each lane of the rapid flow cell also requires clustering on the cBot 2 or cBot. Otherwise, Rapid Run mode on the HiSeq 1500 System performs both cluster generation and sequencing.
